ODC Advisory Services

Symbions can help with our ODC Advisory services; a service offering that provides operational and business process consulting to your team as they build out their ODC. This service offering provides consulting services based on the assumption that you are building a self-sustaining ODC from day 1; including your own facilities, infrastructure, business processes, and personnel.

ODC Build and Run

If you have decided that you want to own your own ODC but are not interested in the challenges associated with facilities, infrastructure, legal issues, and the other administrative issues, our ODC Build and Run offering might be the right solution for you.

This offering provides the client with a dedicated ODC staff, established and operated as a virtual ODC, or a center within a center. In this approach we build a dedicated virtual ODC with the expectation that this is the long term operating model. We launch the ODC as in a secured area within our existing facilities; leveraging the use of our technical infrastructure. We staff the ODC with a team of dedicated Symbions resources. In some cases the client may also transfer internal resources to India, on a temporary or permanent basis, to support the ODC launch.

Over the long term the ODC will remain within Symbions facility, technically and physically partitioned from the rest of the facility. The staff will remain Symbions employees but will be 100% dedicated to the client’s efforts. With this dedicated, virtual ODC model, the client will play, to the extent they desire, a more active role in operational roles; such as staffing, hiring, management processes, training decisions, and day to day management.

Symbions can provide additional resources on a temporary project basis to address variable capacity requirements, at project based pricing levels. This gives the client some protection from over staffing the ODC. There are several advantages for the client in this approach.

	First, they achieve the benefits of a dedicated offshore development staff and the associated cost advantages.
	Second, the client can avoid the distractions associated with facilities, technical infrastructure and other enablers.

The cost benefits of this approach are significant, but come with the obligation to commit to a long term contract and guaranteed staffing. At the client’s discretion we can establish this virtual ODC as a separate legal entity, with equity ownership by the client.

For client’s who wish to operate an internal ODC and are willing to commit to a fixed level of staffing; this approach offers a great way to get the benefits you want while avoiding many of the challenges.
